Thomas L. Brown, M.D., is a board-certified radiologist with specialty training in Pediatric Radiology and Nuclear Medicine. After concluding his Bachelor of Science Degree at The Citadel (1959 – 1963), a prestigious Military College in South Carolina, Dr. Brown earned his Doctor of Medicine at the Bowman Gray School of Medicine of Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina (1963 – 1967). He then completed a year of internship with the United States Army, at Tripler General Hospital in Honolulu, Hawaii (1967-1968). Dr. Brown soon after moved to Washington D.C, and completed his residency in diagnostic radiology (1968-1972) at the Walter Reed General Hospital (1968-1971). While in Washington D.C., Dr. Brown simultaneously completed his Nuclear Medicine Residency at the Walter Reed General Hospital, and his fellowship training in Pediatric Radiology at the Children’s National Medical Center (1971 – 1972). Dr. Brown has four boys; three are physicians and one in training to become a physician’s assistant. He finds joy spending time with them.
John O’Neil, M.D., is a board-certified radiologist with specialty training in Neuroradiology. After graduating cum laude in his undergraduate studies (B.A.) at the University of Scranton, Pennsylvania (1989-1993), Dr. O’Neil earned his Doctor of Medicine at Loyola in Chicago, Illinois (1993 – 1997). He then completed a year of internship at the Resurrection Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois (1997-1998) followed by a residency in diagnostic radiology at the University of Florida. Dr. O’Neil then decided to move to North Carolina to complete his fellowship training in Neuroradiology at Duke University’s Medical Center. Dr. O’Neil trained in Florida, met his wife in Florida, and his two children were born in Florida.
